So my dad launched a new business a year or so ago, selling Louisiana Pecan Oil. This after a lifetime in hardware and building materials. He is getting some nice publicity now, and he told me this last weekend they had as many orders in the last few days as the year previously. Here he is on Emeril's web site:

Apparently, the Advocate story got picked up in other Louisiana Press, so that he had a TV interview, as well as some national specialty food magazines. Go dad!
