Problem with non-anonymity

Despite the fact that I call myself Paca and refer to people as N and B, this is totally not an anonymous blog. There's a link right to it from my official web page. This was a conscious choice, as it was created in order to keep friends and family up to date.

The problem with this is that one can't unfairly, unwisely rant and complain and yell. And so my rant is reduced to:

Something happened today which made me really mad.

And that's about all I can say. How lame and "unjuicy" is that?

I hate that dilemma. Of course, I don't care that much and rant anyway. I ranted about Llama just the other day, but didn't name him publicly in the blog. I'm sure he knows it was him, though, since I ranted to him in person, too!!! :)

But when it's work-related, or would slay someone's character, it is a huge problem.

Maybe you need two blogs. (not that I can say much, since I have no blogs.)

In other news, are you gonna do a
sports pool for the NFL playoffs?
Please please? I'm getting into this stuff now, even though I actually have no idea what I'm doing.

ouch, my husband has just found out I have a blog.
He's not that peeping type, he has the strength to stop himself from spying all the time, but somehow my anonymity has gone...

aww honey, TELL me about it. it's ok. we read between your lines.

i've kind of gone the other kind of anonymous route. in that i aggressively patrol the web to make sure no one links to me in a "real" way. but is that real protection? not really, seeing as i have trouble refraining from personal overshare.

and that whole thing about "two blogs" doesn't work for me, either. it just makes it harder for me to find time for my, you know, job and personal life.

I know your name is Hunter because Ello did some kick ass research for her story about you. At least I think it's Hunter. But I can call you "Gatherer" if it makes you feel more comfortable.

I understand. I posted a writing site with my real name. I don't care anymore. I just have to be a little bit careful since I write children's lit. Or maybe not...
